Each programme is educational and organisational in nature. We work with publicly available materials and help participants build their own reading logs and document folders — nothing more, nothing less.

Personal Records Setup Session

A guided two-hour session for individuals who want to set up a clean household records folder. The session covers labelling, filing, and noting — and ends with a one-page records map. Participants also receive a printed list of official public channels they can consult independently. No individual document is interpreted.

Reading Group on Retirement Documentation

A six-session reading group, meeting weekly, that walks through publicly available material on national retirement schemes at a steady, deliberate pace. The group leader directs participants to relevant pages and helps each person build a personal reading log. The programme is reading-focused throughout and does not interpret documents in relation to any individual case.

What exactly happens in a Personal Records Setup Session?

The two-hour session is entirely organisational. A facilitator works alongside you to label, sort, and note the household documents you have brought. At the end, you leave with a one-page records map showing where each document type is stored and which official public bodies to contact if you need replacements. No document is read aloud or assessed for its content.

Does the reading group provide financial advice or guidance on my EPF account?

No. The reading group works entirely with publicly available documents — EPF member handbooks, KWAP information booklets, and similar materials published by the relevant bodies. The group leader points to relevant pages and helps participants record what they have read. There is no advice given about any individual account, withdrawal, or retirement decision.

Who is the Annual Household Records Programme suited for?

The programme is well-suited to households with two or more family members whose documents need to be tracked — for example, a couple approaching or already in retirement, or an adult child who is helping their parents keep documents in order. The quarterly check-in rhythm means nothing goes more than three months without a review.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are held at our premises in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, at 22 Jalan Maarof. The space is quiet, with good natural light and unhurried seating. We ask participants to arrive five minutes early so there is time to settle before the session begins.

How far in advance should I book?

Setup sessions are typically available within two to three weeks. Reading group cohorts form quarterly and have limited seats — we recommend registering your interest at least four weeks before the intended start date. Annual programme places open once a quarter as well.

Are the session fees refundable if I need to cancel?

Cancellations made seven or more days before a session may be rescheduled without charge. Cancellations within fewer than seven days are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us by phone or email if your circumstances change — we will do our best to find a workable arrangement.

Is there parking near the Bangsar premises?

Street parking is available along Jalan Maarof and the adjacent streets. Bangsar LRT station is a short walk away for those who prefer public transport. If you have concerns about accessibility or mobility, please let us know when booking and we will note any preferences.
