1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember certain information about your visit — for example, whether you have seen a particular notice — so that it can behave consistently during your session and across return visits. The anchormoorad website uses two categories of cookies: strictly necessary cookies that the site cannot function without, and optional analytics cookies that we set only with your consent.

3. Necessary Cookies

The cookie consent preference cookie (am_cookie_consent) is strictly necessary for the site to behave as you have chosen. It does not collect data about your browsing activity and cannot be used to identify you. Because it is necessary for the site to remember your stated preference, it is set regardless of whether you accept or decline optional cookies.

4. Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics to collect aggregate information about how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are visited most often, how long visits typically last, and which region most visitors come from. This information is processed in aggregate and is not linked to any individually identifiable person. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them via the cookie notice on your first visit.

5. Third-Party Embeds

Our homepage includes an embedded Google Maps frame showing our Bangsar location. When this frame loads, Google may set its own cookies on your device subject to Google's cookie policy. We do not control these cookies and they are not covered by this policy. If you prefer not to load the map frame, you may scroll past it or disable third-party embeds in your browser settings.

6. Managing Your Preferences

You may decline optional analytics cookies when the cookie notice is first shown. If you wish to change a preference given previously, you can do so in the following ways:

• Browser settings: All major browsers allow you to view, block, and delete cookies through their settings menus. Refer to your browser's help documentation for step-by-step instructions.
• Google Analytics opt-out: Google offers a browser add-on that prevents Google Analytics from collecting data on any website you visit. The add-on is available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Clearing stored preferences: Deleting the am_cookie_consent cookie through your browser will cause the cookie notice to reappear on your next visit, allowing you to state a fresh preference.

Please note that blocking necessary cookies may affect how the site functions, including whether your cookie preference is remembered between visits.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing not be tracked. There is currently no agreed standard for how websites should respond to this signal. Our analytics setup does not alter its behaviour in response to Do Not Track signals; you can prevent analytics tracking by declining cookies in the notice or using the Google Analytics opt-out described above.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if we change the cookies we use. The updated date at the top of the page will reflect any revision. Material changes will be accompanied by a renewed cookie notice on the site.
