1. Who We Are

anchormoorad is a pension education and document organisation service operating from 22 Jalan Maarof, Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We offer reading group sessions, document organisation workshops, and annual household records programmes to members of the public. We do not provide financial, legal, or regulatory advice.

For the purposes of this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to anchormoorad. "You" refers to any person who contacts us, visits our website, or participates in one of our sessions.

2. Personal Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to confirm bookings, communicate about sessions, and maintain records of participation. This includes:

  • Your name and contact details (telephone number and email address) when you submit an enquiry or reserve a session
  • Attendance records noting your participation in specific programmes
  • Payment records limited to confirmation of receipt and session type — we do not store full payment card details
  • Correspondence you send us by email or telephone, retained for the duration of our working relationship

We do not request or retain copies of any personal financial documents, retirement scheme statements, or government-issued records. Any documents you bring to a session for your own organisational reference remain yours and are not copied, photographed, or retained by us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information for the following purposes only:

  • To confirm and administer your session bookings
  • To send you reminders and practical information about sessions you have reserved
  • To process and confirm payment
  • To respond to enquiries you have addressed to us directly
  • To maintain attendance records for our internal programme administration

We do not use your personal information for automated profiling, scoring, or decision-making. We do not use it to draw inferences about your financial situation. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We collect and process personal information on the basis of your consent, given at the point of enquiry or booking, and on the basis of legitimate interest in administering the sessions you have chosen to attend. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at the address below; withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website uses session cookies necessary for navigation and optional analytics cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site. Analytics data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to identifiable individuals. A cookie notice is displayed on your first visit; you may decline optional cookies at that point or at any time through your browser settings. For full details, please read our Cookie Policy.

6. Retention

We retain your contact details and attendance records for up to three years following your last session with us, after which they are securely deleted. Correspondence may be retained for up to five years where it is relevant to a programme you have participated in. Payment confirmation records are retained in accordance with Malaysian tax and accounting requirements, typically seven years.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct inaccuracies, and to request deletion of your data subject to any legal retention obligations. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the contact details below. We aim to respond within 14 working days.

8. Security

We store personal information on password-protected systems and restrict access to staff directly involved in session administration. Physical records, where maintained, are kept in locked storage at our Bangsar premises and are not removed from the premises without cause.

9. Third-Party Services

Our website makes limited use of third-party services including Google Analytics for aggregate visitor statistics and a maps embed for our location. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We do not share personally identifiable information with these providers beyond what is transmitted automatically by your browser during a page visit.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. The date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. We will not materially reduce your rights under this policy without notice.
